i had a decent enough surround system before, but the astro's emphasize highs, like footsteps to be able to pinpoint exactly where someone is from halfway across a map

Tom Click Here Me and Phill have the Astro A40's (with the mixamp which is necessary), which cost £195. Though the Astro A30s+mixamp are meant to be just as good quality from what I've heard and are slightly cheaper at £150. Don't think either of em come with an opitcal cable, though it's likely you'll have one lying around from an old xbox 360
